Resumo:
The influence of the insertion of mini and micro generation in the electricity distribution
networks, both from an electrical point of view and from the point of view of incurred costs,
are still underestimated by electricity distributors. In the current scenario of regulation in the
electricity sector, much has been done to make distributed generation sources viable,
especially solar, and little attention has been paid to the real impacts they bring on the
distribution network. Thus, the present work, using the methodology presented by CEMIG
energy distribution, in its Research and Development (R&D) project and the studies
developed in the R&D project Tariff Structure of the Company Luz e Força Santa Maria -
Santa Maria, sought to show the real impacts incurred by the distributors, when installing
generation systems distributed in the energy networks, without due study of the electrical and
economic impact of their installation. This work simulated the growth of the insertion of
photovoltaic microgeneration in the distribution networks of Santa Maria, using the most
probable scenario and, thus, predicted the impacts to the networks and the costs of the
distributor.
