Resumo:
A voltage regulator for a synchronous machine was implemented during the work period. The
symmetrical optimization method of regulators was used aiming at achieving a regulation
system optimum response through the application of steps to the voltage reference and also to
the load fed by the synchronous generator. A workbench was organized, where tests were
realized in three stages with the regulator, and its results provided the experimental
comprovation in laboratory. The conciliation of control theory with the practice part
concluded the dissertation in a satisfactory way, appearing proposal to future works.
