Resumo:
Increase of mineral waters consumption demand, incontestable economic, social
and politic concern of sector for hydromineral watering places that were born and
fully depend on this resource, as well as present scope of unfamiliarity regarding
hydrogeological and hydrochemical characteristics of these waters, make urgent
need of a management project working up for assuring sustainable exploration
limits, protecting and otimization of its use. To guarantee quality of mineral
waters, scientific research advise the need of introducing a continuous quality and
quantity monitoring of waters, these data could be obtained through local and
laboratorial analysis with fast results, precision and reliability measuring, by using
multiparameters sensors. This report aims to make a study of knowledge on
chosen area, São Lourenço, in Minas Gerais State, and also to evalutate
application of multiparameters sensors for quality analysis of mineral waters typical
of the region . This report include studies on different kinds of procedures taking to
a more efficient management of aquifers, intending to assure guarantee of water
quality regarding mineral contents and removal of contamination possible risks,
besides an evaluation of comercial multiparameters sensors in physical and
chemical analysis of mineral waters. Results of chemical analysis using two kinds
of comercial sensors were compared with data obtained through analysis in
authorized laboratories, what make possible a better evaluation and conclude that
technology even applicable needs improving.
