Resumo:
Given the need of the efficient use of energy in the modern society, face the restrictions of use
of the fossil and renewable energy resources, being the residential segment highly relevant in
the consumption structure and, still, the universalization of the illumination as item of
residential consumption, this work shows technical, normative, behavior and business aspects
in the search of the evaluation of an energy efficiency promotion model in that segment.
And in this aspect, this work has like purpose evaluate a model of promotion of energy
efficiency in the residential segment for the substitution of incandescent lamps for compact
fluorescent lamps, by case study in Rondônia.
The model idealized was defined by the combination of the emanated general rules from the
regulator agency of the electricity sector with the local professional experience. The idealized
model was applied, with their necessary adaptations, concomitant to the studies of literature
revision and theoretical references. That whole process was inserted in the peculiar
atmosphere of the company, where the work was developed, in an after federalization process
with the intent of privatization and in a faraway State from the academic centers of the
country.
From the application of the model, it was noticed that the numeric goals of energy economy
wasn’t realized and that the retreat of tip load demand wasn’t measured, as well as the control
instruments was so weak in evaluation of subsequent behavior of the units consuming`s
groups involved.
It is concluded that is necessary to take better advantage of the sector efforts by the regulator
agency, linking them to the strategic subjects of conservation and rational use, optimizing
mass communications resources and including control instruments, among others, as well as
similar adjustments to the studied model.
