Resumo:
This thesis work presents a synthetic model of application of the Quality Function
Deployment (QFD) accomplished in the process of welding in fine foils for the Pulsed
MIG/MAG method. This work presents an auxiliary model for the determination of the
strategic values (How many) of a main QFD, based on the statistical Design of
Experiments (DOE) tool.
The work presents a brief vision of the researchers' current tendency in increasing
the efficiency of QFD through the application of some techniques and procedures during
all the phases of development of the method with the objective of turning it more rigorous
and operational. The work also evidences a bibliographical revision on the method QFD
and on Design of Experiments (DOE), through its origin, application, advantages and
benefits and sequence of steps for its application
During the application of the methodology QFD in the range of the process pulsed MIG/MAG, it was used three methods (DOE, the specialists' Opinion, technical
References), to accomplish the evaluation of the strategic values (How many) of a main
QFD. The results reached by the three methods that were compared among themselves with
the objective of finding the best specification for the pulse parameters, so that it can obtain
a larger satisfaction of the customer.
Finally, the conclusion presents the results regarding to the objectives of the
research, as well as a recommendation for future researches.
