Resumo:
The aim of this dissertation is the development of an induction generator voltage
control system, regardless of the machine load.
The method consists basically of using fixed capacitors, associated with TCR’s
(Thyristor Controlled Reactors), for voltage controlling.
A PI (proportional Integral) regulator has been implemented in the proposed
system of voltage control loop. The optimization of the regulator was made using the
Modulus Optimization Method (OM) and the obtained results have been satisfactory,
presenting stability and good dynamics.
The system was implemented in laboratory through a prototype that uses
a Induction Motor Used As Generator (IMAG) of 1,86 [kW] in 220 [V]. The proposed
control system is detailed in the dissertation. The results have been introduced and
discussed.
