Resumo:
This dissertation describes in a simplified manner, the composing elements of a thermal
power plant, which operates in combined cycle and deals with its working principles, types
and specific characteristics.
In this work, the main characteristics and configurations of the aeroderivatives gas turbine are
presented, as well as its math models description, proposed to analyze the dynamic stability of
electrical systems.
This also presents several results from disturbance simulations in power systems, composed
by aeroderivatives units operating in combined cycle, highlighting the influences of its main
composing elements in the dynamic system behavior.
