Resumo:
The standard protocol TCP/IP is one of the most wild spread architectures for long,
average and short distances involving computers. So, for trying the industrial networks
standardization, there are some years, it was also implemented in the industrial way.
The work explores this technology, however gone back to the industrial atmospheres.
The industrial networks final user has great difficulty to accomplish the start up of its plant,
due to mistakes of projects and difficulties in the configuration of the system. Many people
have physically and logically difficulties in projecting such industrial networks. An error in
this stage means a lot of waste of time and cost with the stopped plant and with the bad
operation of the network, having a low efficiency of the system.
The subject of the work is to propose a software tool, independent on the network in
subject (all industrial Ethernet networks use architecture TCP/IP and physical layer
standardized IEEE802.3), where the user can accomplish a lot of tests to make possible the
connection and installation of the elements of the network with the smallest time and cost.
Several simulations and comparisons were fulfilled in order to test and to validate the
accomplished software.
The software tool can be used by anybody from the industrial networks area, helping
and avoiding great problems in the industrial start up.
