Resumo:
The Lean Thinking Principles came up from the Toyota Production System development, in Japan, in the 70s, as way to specify value to the product, to find the best sequence to the actions and perform them efficiently, without interruptions when someone ask for it.
Delphi Automotive System, a multinational company, working as an automotive industry supplier, created the Delphi Manufacturing System, regarding to these principles, and Paraisópolis Plant has adopted it as a reference during the Lean Manufacturing Model at its pilot productive unit.
This paper presents an implementation guide proposal, to provide information for the next programs, due to the difficulties found, as the Delphi Manufacturing System Manual lacks general information on implementation. The proposal was based on the Lean Thinking Philosophy, Delphi Manufacturing System and Implementation Practical Case.
