Resumo:
This dissertation presents the methodology used to create a digital twin for part of
the UNIFEI - Itabira campus. For a better understanding of this process, a brief
explanation of the concepts and processes necessary to create 3D models until the
texturing stage is also presented. The 3D scenario and all projects developed during
the execution of this work were made available in order to serve both as a study
tool for those interested in 3D modeling and as a starting point for future research
related to the Itabira campus. In addition, the cyclegan network was trained to
transfer the style of images captured in the virtual campus to more closely resemble
the images captured in the real campus. The model obtained fulfilled its role in
virtually representing the desired region of the campus and the cyclegan training
presented good results, leaving an opened way for future research related to the
training of autonomous vehicles in this virtual environment.
