Resumo:
This work presents the relevance of parametric analysis in electrical studies using the Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP), exposing some studies prepared using the Parametric Modeling Suite (PAMSUITE) module of the EMTP-RV software and presenting an example of a case prepared using a set of other computational tools, including the ATP package. When comparing the traditional approach with parametric analysis, it is observed that the results produced by parametric analysis are much more detailed, with which it is possible to make better informed and economically viable decisions about the system.
