Abstract:
Entrepreneurship Education is today an extensive challenge for Higher Education Institutions, which are strong promoters of socioeconomic development through the training of entrepreneurs and the advancement of entrepreneurship. Within the context, we find an entrepreneurship program, called “Desafio dos 50 Reais”, offered to the Business Administration students from Centro Universitário Salesiano de São Paulo, campus Lorena. The aforementioned challenge was initially implemented in 2015 has, since then, undergone reformulations year after year compared to what is found in the literature as best practices and pedagogical strategies. These improvements were conceived based on an entrepreneurship education offered in an uncertain and ambiguous environment, developing a creation mindset (effectuation) on students, besides having structured pedagogical strategies from entrepreneurship as a method. The present study carried out a case study of the program’s reformulation based on a historical documentary analysis between the years 2015-2017, and a documentary analysis of the reformulated D50 for 2018, together with qualitative perceptions collected from the participating students. It is concluded that the entrepreneurship program presents clear evidence of conformity with the literature and precepts of entrepreneurship as a method, in addition to a rethought journey for training entrepreneurs. Lastly, a D50 implementation kit was developed containing an implementation manual, documentation, theoretical framework in order to replicate this program and strengthen the training of entrepreneurs in local contexts.
