Resumo:
The present work describes about strategic administration, specifically the decision process of strategies in a company of the textile industry. It accomplished a study of theories about different points of view and conflicting information. The environment of the textile business was also studied and reported through contextualization, in which it was demonstrated that the market is no longer stable and has became highly competitive allowing small margin of mistakes over decisive processes.
The objective of this dissertation was to identify, describe and analyze how the strategic administration was implemented in the context of a textile industry, regarding the aspects of reliability of the strategic decision, evaluating the variables: strategic approach, formation and profile of the team, criteria, available information and time for choosing the strategy, what has enable the confirmation through accounting reports that the study brought positive alterations however demanded an attentive team and with fast decision making processes.
The observed results reinforce the studied theories and tend to become constant in companies of the synthetic filaments sector that develop a reliable and agile strategic process. In this context, the strategic planning is a fundamental supplement to companies that intent to become competitive in a globalized world, which demands fast and reliable decision-making processes.
