Industry 4.0, characterized by the integration of digital technologies into industrial processes,
has also been transforming and impacting the training and qualification sector
for off-road truck operators in mining. Among the existing challenges, the integration
of web software to supervise 3D off-road truck simulators is a necessity for the sector.
A solution is sought that provides greater flexibility and accessibility for the hardware
and software platforms that run the simulation system in different regions. In this sense,
this work presents the development of a web supervisory system to manage a simulation
system. The supervisory system will be responsible for persisting data in a database and
will communicate with the simulator at runtime. The approach was made using a back-end
layer that offers an API and a front-end layer that offers the user interface. The integration
with the simulator was done through the ROS2 framework. As a result, the work presents a
user-friendly interface, correct exchange of messages between the supervisory and simulator
subsystems, as well as the storage of operator simulation data for performance monitoring
and learning.
