Resumo:
The present work aims to develop an information system for management based on the
operational performance. The information system will be defined to deal with the specifities
of the energy sector of a petroliferous refinery, its processes and equipment.
The system, in proposal, is an instrument that evaluates the energy system operational
activities performance. Moreover, the system utilizes performance measures indicators,
particularly developed, to arrange failure occurrences according to the FMEA approach
(occurrences, severity and detection). This system uses the data base available in the
organization, such as the register of abnormalities.
This work uses a set of performance measurement indicators, specially developed to
the operational processes of the refinery in order to prioritize the occurrences.
This work also uses a questionnaire to obtain information from the users, according to
the Soft System Analysis Methodology.
The research point out the degree of practical applicability of the system in the
company. In order to improve, the system capabilities the research provides several
sugestions.
