Resumo:
The goal of this paper was to evaluate the course “Agroenergy – use of the
energy in rural area”, taught to children who lives in farms. The course contemplates
environmental matters and use of alternative sources of energy to pumping and
heating water, food preparing, electric power generation, machines and equipment
driving, etc, in a sustainable way, improving the rural life quality and the human
permanence in the rural area.
The methodology used to realize this job was qualitative search that, among
other characteristics, it praises to valorize the knowledge construction process, where
the main source of data is the natural environment, in which is inserted the individual
as agent of social transformation. To collect the data it was used the technique of the
standardized interview and non-standardized.
Data collection was finished, the analysis was done and, positive behavioral
changes were noted in several lived places, these people – children, parents and
effluent – acquired a larger conscience about the environment, where the knowledge,
values, abilities, experiences and determination taught during the process will
contribute, in a short time, to become the participants apt to act individually or
collectively to solve, nowadays, the environmental problems, guaranteeing a better
future.
